I’ve known Matt Cutts for a while, and I love his habit of challenging himself every month by doing something that can basically improve his life for the next 30 days. This can be things like biking to work, read 4-5 books, drop some food from the diet, etc. You can watch his talk at TED. I did something similar last May, when I tried to eliminate Facebook, or least access to it as little as possible, and it went pretty well. The main problem is that Facebook is for so many people the only tool of communication, and at times you can only reach certains people by using it.
By the way, for this month of July I’m trying my first serious 30 day challenge, which is to give up on any food containing sugar AND I also decided to go for a month without any dairy. Even yogurt, yes, which I can’t really live without.
I’ve heard many voices many times saying that dairy products, like the common cow milk, are not well received by our body, sometimes it can even be considered harmful. Well, I’m going to try this one, also. At the end of the month I will know if cutting out cheese, milk, yougurt, mozzarella, etc. have some positive effect on my health. The only thing I know for now is that I’m a big dairy eater, I have no problem digesting them and it won’t be easy to replace that very large part of my diet with other foods. Only 27 days to go…
